PLAB Preparation Platform
Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board Test (UK GMC)
PLAB is the UK General Medical Council's test for international medical graduates: a written single-best-answer exam (PLAB 1) followed by a practical clinical assessment (PLAB 2). Doctors from India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and elsewhere prepare for it, and institutes run large online PLAB 1 batches.
Sikgen AI is an AI-powered LMS for PLAB preparation: PLAB-pattern proctored mock tests in English, question banks auto-generated from your own material, a citation-backed AI tutor, and per-student weak-area analytics for coaching institutes.
PLAB prep challenges
- PLAB 1 tests UK clinical guidelines that differ from what candidates trained on
- Candidates prepare from many countries, often online
- PLAB 2 is a hands-on clinical exam that online practice cannot fully cover
- Guidelines change, so question banks need regular review
